The music project from the “Rhapsody in School” series aims to overcome cultural, social and societal boundaries and make the fascination and diversity of classical music comprehensible for children and young people. The “Rhapsody in School” initiative – founded by classical musicians in 2005 – was awarded the ECHO Klassik Prize in 2014 in the category “Promotion of Young Musicians” for its sustainable commitment to education – with the aim of supporting the young generation in discovering their potential and developing in a self-determined manner.
